Where: Sydney International Regatta Centre (SIRC), Penrith, NSW
We are staying at Blacktown, approximately 30 minutes from SIRC.
I am racing the Open Lightweight Single Scull (OLW1X), Open Lightweight Double Scull (OLW2X) with Carly Cottam from Toowong (I haven’t met her yet), Open Lightweight Quad Scull (OLW4X) with Janelle Austin, Amy Walters and Jess Bowyer from WA (WARC, WARC and FRC/WAIS) and the Interstate Lightweight Quad Scull (ISLW4X) with Janelle, Jess and Maia Simmonds (UWABC/WAIS).
My race schedule (currently) is:
Sunday 23rd 4pm-ish 1X heat
Monday 24th 1:30 1X repechage (hopefully not needed)
Monday 24th 4:40 2X heat
Tuesday 25th 11:55 1X semi
Tuesday 25th 2:45 2X repechage (hopefully not needed)
Wednesday 26th 10:35 1X final
Thursday 27th 1:55 2X final
Friday 28th 12:25 4X final
Saturday 29th 1:30-ish IS4X final
If I do well enough in the 1X and 2X heats then I won’t have to race the repechages, which will mean only one race each day.
